News-Sentinel | 08/18/2006 | Something to smile about:

Indiana is 95% fluoridated:

"Some dentists want to avoid complex patients who require many visits at Medicaid rates, referring such patients to other dentists. That’s what happened to a 12-year-old girl Pham treated in Atlanta. She came to Pham, “with infection draining out of the side of her jaw.” The girl had been to other dentists who gave her medication but no further treatment. When she came to Pham, he pulled the infected tooth and gave her antibiotics and follow-up care."
